To ensure these principles are upheld in practice, we have developed and implemented a structured quality management system, encompassing welding coordination, inspection procedures, non-destructive testing, and traceability of materials. Each employee is trained and certified according to industry standards, while our internal processes are aligned with EN ISO 9001, EN ISO 3834, and EN 1090 requirements.

This approach guarantees repeatable production quality, compliance with technical specifications, and responsible resource use in every project we deliver.

ISO 45001 — Occupational Health and Safety Management

The safety of each of our specialists in the workplace is our daily priority. We have put a series of measures in place to ensure high occupational safety and pleasant working conditions for our employees.

Certified Factory Production Control – EN 1090 (EXC 3)

SIA “MEKO un KO” is certified under EN 1090 for the production of structural steel components up to Execution Class 3 (EXC 3), suitable for use in all types of load-bearing buildings.

This certification confirms that our factory production processes have been independently assessed and meet the strictest EU requirements for structural steel products. Regular surveillance audits are performed to ensure continuous compliance and quality.

Certified Welding Process – EN 1090 (EXC 3)

SIA “MEKO un KO” is certified for welding structural steel components up to Execution Class 3 (EXC 3) in accordance with EN 1090-2:2018 + A1:2024.

Our certified welding process includes MAG welding (135) and covers a range of steel materials, including austenitic stainless steels. All welding operations are overseen by an authorized welding coordinator certified to EN ISO 3834-2.

Certified Aluminium Structure Production – EN 1090 (EXC 2)

SIA “MEKO un KO” is certified for the production of structural components and kits for aluminium structures up to Execution Class 2 (EXC 2), in accordance with EN 1090-3:2019.

This certificate confirms that SIA “MEKO un KO” has implemented a certified factory production control system for the manufacturing of aluminium structural components. It ensures that:

✅ Production processes (cutting, welding, assembly, etc.) are consistently monitored and controlled

✅ All products meet strict European safety and quality standards (EN 1090-3:2019)

✅ The company is allowed to apply the CE marking, proving compliance with EU regulations

✅ Products can be confidently used in load-bearing structures in all types of buildings

Certification up to Execution Class 2 (EXC 2) means our aluminium structures are suitable for a wide range of construction applications — from industrial and commercial buildings to infrastructure and architectural projects.

This level of certification gives our clients the assurance of safety, durability, and regulatory compliance in every component we manufacture.

Certified Aluminium Welding – EN 1090 (EXC 2)

SIA “MEKO un KO” is certified for welding aluminium structural components up to Execution Class 2 (EXC 2) under EN 1090-3:2019.

This certification confirms that our welding processes — including MIG (131) and TIG (141) — are approved for aluminium-magnesium and aluminium-magnesium-silicon alloys, in compliance with EU standards.
Welding is supervised by a certified coordinator in line with EN ISO 3834-2.

Certified Welding Quality Management – EN ISO 3834-2

SIA “MEKO un KO” is certified in accordance with EN ISO 3834-2:2021, confirming compliance with international standards for welding quality.

This certificate verifies that the company:

✅ Maintains a structured quality management system

✅ Employs qualified welding and inspection personnel

✅ Uses certified welding procedures

✅ Has the technical capacity to manufacture and inspect welded products reliably

The EN ISO 3834-2 certification ensures that SIA “MEKO un KO” can consistently produce welded steel and aluminium structures that meet high-quality, safety, and compliance standards required for European and international markets.

This certification complements and supports the company’s EN 1090 certifications, confirming full process control from welding to final inspection.

Welding Process Documentation – EN ISO 3834 Annex

This annex confirms that SIA “MEKO un KO” carries out welding work according to recognized international standards.

The company applies approved procedures and follows the relevant standards for:

Qualification of welders and coordination personnel

Non-destructive testing (NDT)

Welding procedure specifications and qualification

Inspection during and after welding

Calibration of testing and measuring equipment

Covered welding methods: MIG (131), MAG (135), TIG (141)
Materials: Steel (groups 1 and 8.1) and Aluminium (groups 22 and 23.1)
Welding coordination is performed by a certified IWS/IWI-S specialist.

This annex is valid only together with the EN ISO 3834 certificate.

NDT Specialist Certificate – Penetrant Testing (PT, Level 2)

An employee of SIA “MEKO un KO” has been certified in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), confirming their competence in Penetrant Testing (PT – Level 2) in accordance with EN ISO 9712.

🧪 This qualification applies to welded, tubular, and wrought products in the manufacturing sector.

This certificate ensures that the company performs weld quality inspections at a high professional standard and in compliance with internationally recognized methods.

NDT Specialist Certificate – Magnetic Testing (MT, Level 2)

An employee of SIA “MEKO un KO” is certified to perform Magnetic Testing (MT – Level 2) in compliance with the international standard EN ISO 9712.

This qualification authorizes the specialist to carry out non-destructive magnetic testing in the production and construction industries, including:

✅ Welded products

✅ Tubes and pipes

✅ Wrought products

This certificate confirms the company's commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in the inspection and safety of welded and structural elements.

NDT Specialist Certificate – Visual Testing (VT, Level 2)

A certified employee of SIA “MEKO un KO” is qualified to carry out Visual Testing (VT – Level 2) in accordance with EN ISO 9712, a global standard for non-destructive testing personnel.

The certificate confirms the specialist’s competence in conducting visual inspections of materials and welds to ensure product safety and quality across industrial sectors.

This qualification strengthens MEKO un KO’s capabilities in maintaining high quality and safety standards in manufacturing and welded structures.
